Private lessons at Moldenhauer Flute Studio are customized to students' needs, blending traditional methods and modern techniques. Students learn correct techniques, standard repertoire, and current music. From reading music to effective practice, audition preparation, and solo performances, all ages and skill levels are welcome.
New students can register online by completing the New Student Form or using the contact form on this website. Discontinuing lessons requires a minimum notice of 2 lessons.
At Moldenhauer Flute Studio, we strive to make your experience convenient and flexible. Payment for lessons can be made through various methods, including:
Online Payments:
In-Person Payments:
Note: Cash and check payments will be recorded online and credited to your account for reference.
Weekly Payments:
In certain cases, students may prefer to pay for lessons on a weekly basis. If you choose this option, please ensure that lesson payments are made online before the lesson or with cash/check at the beginning of each lesson. A $5 late fee per month will be applied to past due accounts following a grace period of 10 days. In the case of non-payment, lessons may be suspended until the account is brought current.
Students wishing to discontinue lessons must give the studio a minimum notice of two lessons. Any lessons paid beyond that will be posted to the student's account.
Monthly Payments:
For those who prefer a monthly payment structure, lesson payments are due online prior to the first lesson of the month or with cash/check at the beginning of the first lesson of the month. In the case of non-payment, lessons may be suspended until the account is brought current.
Students wishing to discontinue lessons must give the studio a minimum notice of two lessons. Any lessons paid beyond that will be posted to the student's account.
Consistency is vital for progress. While I don't issue refunds for missed lessons, students are encouraged to attend every lesson for skill advancement. If a lesson does need to be cancelled, please notify me as far in advance as possible so I can adjust my schedule appropriately. I prefer to have at least 24-hours notice in advance of a cancellation whenever possible. Lessons cancelled with less than 24-hours notice or on the day of the lesson will be billable for the full amount of the lesson. Exceptions to this billing may be made if an explanation for the absence is provided, but there is no guarantee that the fee will be waived depending on the circumstance.
